What To Do With Leftover Plastic Easter Eggs

When a holiday or celebration is over at my house, I am always in a hurry to clean up, and return my home to some semblance of normalcy. But, if you celebrate Easter, hold onto those plastic Easter eggs a little bit longer, or at least don’t store them too high in the closet.

Kids love hunting for anything. Why not let the Easter fun continue and go on a “snack hunt” one afternoon? Fill the plastic eggs with dry cereal, fruit snacks, or nuts (or anything small and dry) and let the kids hop from room to room searching for their snack? You can also fill them with stickers to make a surprise collage, or beans for counting. Get creative, and have fun!
